Chuck Liddell needs a win in UFC 97
Does Chuck Lidell need to win UFC 97 or what??? Over the last 2 years he has 1 win and 3 loses. He is definitely loosing his elite status as a UFC fighter.
It reminds me of the way De La Hoya went out, not on top, but getting his ass beat. Will Chuck go out the same way? if he loses will he retire? If he wins will he retire?
Chuck Liddell has been in the UFC since 1998, where he won his first fight and has gone on to be one of the most well know UFC fighter. He has beaten almost every prime contender, Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Renato Sobral and Vitor Belfort — many of them twice. He is also one of the biggest stars of UFC. He has appeared in Entourage, and many late night television shows.
Even with a lose he will still be a huge star and one of the faces of the UFC, but Dana White has clearly made it known that Chucksw status will surely slide if he loses in UFC 97
